Company Profile:
Adirondack Plastics and Recycling, Inc. was incorporated in the State of New York in September of 1991. The initial mission of the corporation was to broker scrap plastics and paper from manufacturers in upstate New York and New England.

As experience was gained and our customer base expanded, we moved into actual hands on reprocessing of post industrial plastic and paper scrap obtained from many diverse industries. Today we own and occupy a 32,000 sq. foot warehouse with three loading docks and operate two shredding and grinding systems with an hourly capacity of 5,000 lbs.

Our newest system includes a 100 HP Retech Shredder with a metal detector and a 100 HP Ball & Jewel grinder with an elutriation system for the removal of dust and fines from the material we process. This system is designed for the processing of high volume and large bulky parts.

The smaller system includes a conveyor system with a 20 HP Nelmor shredder and a five blade 50 HP Rapid grinder for the processing of smaller parts and lower volume material.

Located just 40 miles north of Albany, NY we are a local business to upstate New York’s recycling needs. With two 26 foot box trucks in our fleet, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, pick up and delivery is a common occurrence. In addition, we have very good working relationships with local and long haul truckers with whom we contract who provide additional service when required.

Adirondack is presently buying scrap from a variety of customers throughout the United States which include: Medical Device Manufacturers, Pharmaceutical Producers, Bottle and Toy Manufacturers, the Packaging Industry, the Food Service Industry, the Paper Industry, the Automotive Industry, Scrap Dealers and Brokers, and other Plastic Reprocessors.

All of the resins listed can be processed by or purchased through Adirondack as parts, regrind, lumps, bales, or off spec pellets. In addition to the recycling of plastics, we also can offer the same services to our customers in the recycling of paper scrap generated within their facility.

Adirondack Plastics and Recycling, Inc. has the equipment to pick up your scrap plastics and paper, the equipment to process your scrap plastic and paper, and the experience to broker your scrap plastics and paper directly to end user markets located in the United States, India, china, Taiwan, Korea, Canada and South America.
